She's Gonna Be Famous Too!

Lea was asked if she would appear on a TV special for Stroke Awareness Month (May) to talk about her experience--how she was perfectly healthy and was even embarrassed to go to the hospital the night of her stroke and seizures, but because of early detection and her healthy lifestyle, she is making an amazing recovery.

From Uncle John: Is your "appearance" going to be on Jerry Springer - especially with you waving that cane like that-
From Diane: Lea Ann, our only saving grace is knowing that we are not blood related to the smart @** above! Emily doesn't claim him as her father either - She swears it was the Schwann's man :O
But, honestly that is really great-you ARE an inspiration to all of us already- but now you will be for others. Love ya!

From Uncle Chuck: I prefer the White House Christmas tree method of getting famous to this one, but, if it works for ya....
We're proud of your progress and thinking of you all the time.
Sienna: Dear Lea Ann, I'm so happy to hear you're feeling better and that you're going to be going home Friday. Let me know if you need any hot dogs or "gapes." I hope you recover soon!

Friga,
Lookin’ good girl. I knew nothing could slow down those elbows for too terribly long. You’re in my thoughts and I am pulling for you. Heidi is on a fishing boat in Alaska so won’t be writing in but I know her and Rebekah (and any girl we ever played ball against) would agree with me about the elbows. Take care and just keep in mind that you really have an amazing soul to have overcome this so quickly. Maybe we can catch up sometime down the road…

The appearance thing is great! It's kind of funny cause the other day I told my mom, 'I could so see Lea Ann doing some kind of stroke awareness thing.' Keep doing so great, I'm in awe!

Lea Ann,
Its great to hear that you are going home, just do not let Jake off the hook to soon, he still needs to clean the house and cook you dinner at least for the 1st week home, after that you need to get back to it. A month vacation is enough for any one. Lea Ann it really great to hear that you are doing so well keep up the GREAT WORK if we can do anything to help please let us know. We love you and lets go diving.

Hey there stranger! You are looking great! I'm on the phone with Coach Jackson and she wants me to tell you "this blogging thing sucks!" :) She's just computer illiterate...so don't mind her! But I am sending her well wishes along with mine for your speedy recovery. I'm sure she'll send you a note somehow!
We're both looking forward to the updates on your improvement.

(And I'm cracking up at Annikki's post!)

See ya, girl!

Dear Lea Ann,

Hi Lea Ann! I've read your blog here, and love the photos and that you are recovering so well. I'm sure it is not easy, but you have stuck in there and you have the faith! I learned about your stroke on www.wynonna.com and I wanted to come show my fellow Wy fan some support. The Wy family is such a wonderful family to be apart of.

I hope you have the strength to keep going, and to recover 100% from this. I believe in you, and I wish you well.

Well, I was going to wait to write on a new posting for the blog -- but apparently a couple of people, who shall remain nameless, are rather slow ;) If I were you I wouldn't hire them for PR when you you get your BIG BREAK in "the industry" :D We have a track meet tonight -- of course it is another rainy cold day! It is only sunshiny and warm on non-meet days :S Em only has 2 more weeks and she will be a SENIOR! *gulp* Take care and continue being strong! oh, tell Jake "Hi!" Love ya!

(Hate to utilize the blog to make a comeback here, but...) Diane, what do you actually accomplish at work other than entering new comments on Lea's blog??? C'mon! Get to work! Plus, you haven't commented on MY family blog in a few days, so what's up with that??? Lea- I heard Tony talking with you last night and it sounds like you're doin' super dooper! Bryce and Ryan want to come see you guys (and your cat :o), but please hide the cane when we're there. They're REALLY missin' their Grandma Debbie- BAD, but they understand. Plus, Grandpa's making up for her absence. Keep making strides! You have two birthday parties to come to soon! Take care! ~Laura
